Spelling Bee Competition
Jigsaw Education was commissioned by the Gravesham Learning Partnership to launch the towns first Primary Spelling Bee Competition.
We worked with seven primary schools in Gravesham (Kent) to plan and deliver a Spelling Bee competition which received entries from over 450 students. Fourteen finalists were selected and were invited to an intensive workshop to develop their spelling skills.
Families, teachers and their peers were invited to support the finalists at the finale event. Winners and runners up received gift vouchers, medals, trophies, book vouchers and certificates.
Local community businesses and organisations such as Asda, The Prince's Trust, Specsavers and a local secondary school supported the cause and we were even fortunate to receive a visit from the Mayor and Mayoress of Gravesham.

"I just wanted to say a really big thank you for all your hard work in organising our inaugural Primary Spelling Bee. I absolutely loved it, and in particular how the event showcased the children’s confidence, resilience and talent. Your organisational skills and professionalism are to be commended, in that every detail had been carefully considered and executed to the highest standards. A great event, that truly showcased the talent of some of our brilliant young people in Gravesham. Sincere thanks once again."
